Science/Social
Studies:
We will continue our study of the U.S. Civil War.
So
far, we have learned about Harriet Tubman and Abraham Lincoln. Later on this
week, we will learn about the Union and the Confederacy, Clara Barton and the
American Red Cross, and the Emancipation Proclamation.
Math:
We will continue with Chapter 6, 3-digit addition and subtraction. We
will have the end of chapter test toward the end of the week or the beginning
of next week.
This
week celebrates the birthday of Dr. Seuss. We were treated to an assembly by
Dr. Nickerson from SUU. He told Dr. Seuss stories, sang songs, and entertained
us. It was a lot of fun. We will get a piece of birthday cake on Thursday.
There
are no spelling words this week or next week. We will be doing some
assessments in Language Arts.
No
