Starting this week we will have a list of spelling words to practice. We will only be tested on the words marked with a *. However, please practice reading the entire list. We will see these words in our reading in the next few weeks. It is very beneficial for students to be familiar with the words. The spelling test will be on Friday.

We will be learning about the continent of Asia and its two most populous countries, India and China. We will learn about these early civilizations and how they were able to form because of mighty rivers.
We need empty tuna cans (or a similar size) for a project we are doing next week. If you have any, please send them to school.
