Please practice all of the words. We will only be tested on the words marked with *. The spelling test will be on Friday.

We will be learning about ancient China this week. We will read about the history of paper making, the importance of silk, China's Great Wall, and the Chinese New Year.

Our field trip is coming up this week. Students are encouraged to dress in layers. They will need a warm jacket for Cedar Breaks. They will also need good walking shoes for our hike at Cedar Breaks. Sunscreen is a good idea.

SEP Conferences are October 3-7. Watch for a note coming home this week.

We are creating a Civilizations Chart as we learn about the ancient civilizations that began in India and China. We are learning about what life was like for the people who lived in these ancient civilizations all those years ago.
