We will only be tested on the words mark with *. Please practice reading all of the spelling words. We see these words in our reading throughout the week. The spelling test will be on Friday.
On Tuesday and Thursday, stories will come home in your student's folder (The Ham and The Chicken Nugget). Please practice reading these stories. They do not need to be returned to school. Reading the stories at home will help with fluency as we read the stories in class.
In math, we are beginning Chapter 2, Numbers to 1,000.
Our next field trip is to Cedar Breaks and Parowan Gap on September 22. We will leave about 9:00 and return at approximately 2:30.
The take home library began this week. Read the book each night and return it for a new book each day. Thanks for reading at home. It makes a big difference.
We need empty tun cans (or similar size can) for a project next week. If you have any, please send them to school.
