Science/Social Studies: We have completed our unit on Westward
Expansion. We will
begin learning about insects, the largest
group of animals on Earth. We will learn the characteristics of insects, the
life cycles of insects, how insects can be categorized as solitary or social,
and how insects are viewed as both helpful and harmful..
Math: We will continue with Chapter 5,
2-digit subtraction. We have learned the algorithm and will
be learning how to check our subtraction by using addition.
