Science/Social
Studies: We will put our science/social studies on hold this
week
while we practice for our upcoming Grandparent Program on February 10.
We
are busy learning songs, dances, and poetry. We are excited to perform for our
parents and grandparents.
The
school is doing a fun bulletin board featuring pictures of students with books
they like to read. Here’s how it works: 1. Take a picture of your student
holding a favorite book. 2. Include their name, grade, book title, and author.
Also include a sentence or two on why they like the book. 3. Send the picture
and info by email to sue.harris@ironmail.org. The
pictures will be displayed throughout the month of February.
Once
again, we will only be tested on the 10 words marked with *. The spelling test will be on Friday.. The
other words show up in our reading during the week. Please take time to read
them and be familiar with them.

We enjoyed painting our Ming Dynasty Vases in art class.
