We will be working on contractions in spelling this week. We will also be spelling words with the initial y sound and review long i words with the silent e. We will also spell words with the consonant blend dr and the vowel digraph aw.

We did a wonderful job adding two-digit numbers. This week we will begin subtracting two-digit numbers.
This week we will continue working on our Atlas. We will also write "rainbow similes." On Friday, we will celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with an assembly.
