Happy New Year!
In spelling this week we will focus on the -oat, -ong, and -all word families. We will also spell words with the aw digraph.
Words of the week: boat, coat, float, long, along, belong, paw, fawn, tall, wall
In math, we will review place value. We will also learn about patterns on the 100's chart and odd and even numbers. Homework will come home on Wednesday.
In science, we will continue recording the temperature each day. We will also learn about the water cycle, rain, and wind. We will make a wind vane and learn about the different tools used to forecast the weather.
Instead of sharing this week we will go to the computer lab.
