Studies: We will continue to learn about The Human Body:
Building
Blocks and Nutrition. This week we will learn about nutrition and the
importance of eating a well balanced diet.
We
have also started learning about animal habitats.
Math:
We will finish up our chapter on money and time this week. The test will be on
Tuesday or Wednesday.
We
will continue to read about the War of 1812. We will read about the USS
Constitution, Dolley
Madison, and the attack on Washington D.C. There will be some stories coming
home. These are the same stories we read in our reader at school. Please add
these stories to your reading time each day.
This week the spelling words are all domain-specific words instead of words with a particular spelling feature.
