The stories that are sent home this week are to read for fluency. They don’t need to be returned. We also read the stories in class as groups. Having practice reading them is very helpful.

Please keep reading at least 20 minutes each night. Our goal for DIBELS is 87 words per minute.

*Don’t forget to mark the reading calendar each day*

Please practice counting money with your student. Some of them are struggling with this concept. They need to be able to recognize coins, know their value, and count a collection of coins. We work on it in class but any extra practice will be appreciated.
