We
will review Chapter 5, 2-digit subtraction, on Tuesday. The test will be on Thursday. We will begin
Chapter 6 next week. In this chapter we will learn strategies for adding and
subtracting 3-digit numbers.
We
have completed our unit on the Western Expansion. Next, we will be learning
about insects. We will learn that insects are the largest group of animals on
Earth. We will learn the characteristics of insects, the life cycles of
insects, how insects can be categorized as solitary or social, and how insects
are viewed as both helpful and harmful.
