We
have had a great start to our school year. Thanks to everyone for having the
kids here ready to learn. They are doing a great job.
This
week we will begin our spelling. The words of the week are: the, to, and, he,
a, at. The last four words on the spelling list are let, ran, any, ten. These
are challenge words and are optional. The word family this week is the “at”
family. We made a list of “at” family words in class. Some of those words are;
mat, cat, fat, sat, flat, and pat. There won't be a spelling test this week.
We will begin our first chapter in math this week. We will be adding numbers up to 10, writing addition sentences and using pictures to add.
