This week in spelling we will focus on the blends pr, br, and ft. We will spell two-syllable words and review long a words with silent e.

We will complete our unit on geometry this week and begin our unit on money. To help your student at home, please practice counting coins.
In science this week we will continue our study of animals and plants.
On Friday, we will perform at the Bard's Birthday Bash on the SUU Campus. We will perform at 10:00 on the Adams stage. The performance lasts about 10 minutes. Parents are welcome.
The Second Grade End of Year Program will be on Monday, May 6, at 1:30 p.m.
