This Weeks News Sept. 3-7

In spelling this week we will focus on spelling words with short vowel sounds. Words of the Week: on, not, but, at, had, in, did, get, red, hot This week in math we will continue to work on understanding addition and subtraction. Also, we will be writing addition and subtraction sentences. We will begin our unit on rocks this week. We will start the week by making a folder to keep all of our rock information. We will also be going on a walk around the South Elementary neighborhood to look for uses of rocks.
