This week in spelling our focus is adding the ending -ing after doubling the consonant. We will also recognize the short u sound in some and come. The spelling test will be on Friday.

In math, we will have a math quiz to see what we learned in the first quarter of the year. We will also learn about the "not equal sign." We will also make symmetrical turkeys. Math homework will come home on Wednesday.
This month we will be doing some fun art projects. We will learn to hand crochet and weave. We will also learning about the Native Americans and the Pilgrims.
Green Ribbon Week will kick off on Friday with an assembly.
